What Do We Think? is used for organizing responses during large-scale group deliberation that may be in-person or via e-mail. The process starts with facilitators posing either one or multiple key questions to group members. If participants are responding using the tool’s platform, additional information can be added to each response, such as tags or number of people in a small group in support of or against a response. Next, responses are filtered into the tool platform for facilitators to organize into multiple themes. The deliberation process can be repeated as many times as needed with the reorganized themes. The tool platform also allows for individual participant ranking of responses, delegation of points, and favoriting to analyze participant opinions.
A video located on the website’s home page below shows usage of the tool during an in-person large-group deliberation.
