CityVoice

CityVoice is a place based call-in system for gathering, sharing, and understanding community feedback. The tool highlights three main functionalities:

  1. Accessible: Anyone with a telephone can participate with CityVoice. Access to, or knowledge of, computers or smart phones is unnecessary. Just call in and speak.
  2. Engaging: The human voice is a rich medium for communication. Combining it with digital technology is a powerful way to connect with people.
  3. Robust: Collect opinions in a structured manner and quickly understand the underlying thinking and sentiment behind those opinions. Follow up with citizens easily.

CityVoice is open-source and its code is available on GitHub.

CityVoice is a project by Code for America in partnership with the City of South Bend.
