CIMULACT engaged citizens, along with a variety of other actors, in redefining the European Research and Innovation agenda and thereby make it relevant and accountable to society. The project did so by having more than 1,000 citizens in 30 countries in Europe to formulate their visions for desirable sustainable futures, to debate and develop them with other actors, and to transform them into recommendations for future research and innovation policies and topics.
CIMULACT had 29 European consortium members from different organisations working in the fields of technology assessment, science dissemination, innovation, research and consulting, coordinated by the Danish Board of Technology Foundation.
The project involved several in-person events. And online consultation was held from August 25 through October 19, 2016.
