From the about page:
As a regional government and municipal service provider, Metro Vancouver (former GVRD) wears many hats. One is to ensure affordable housing is available throughout the region.
Renters Speak Up is intended to bring attention to our region’s rental housing shortage, to understand the true impacts on renters and to demonstrate broad support for senior government action to stimulate construction of affordable rental housing.
The site informs about the issues and allows participants to share their stories, which may include photos or videos. Site visitors can browse stories that have been shared.
