From the about page:
The digital economy online consultation is a joint initiative between Industry Canada, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada and Canadian Heritage.
The online component is one part of a broader consultation on the future of Canada’s digital economy.
From the How to Participate section:
How to Participate
This online consultation makes it simple for you to participate and send your ideas for the future of our digital economy to the Government of Canada.
You can participate in two ways, either by taking part in our idea forum or by sending us a formal submission. Before you join in, you can learn about the issues by reading our consultation paper.
Please note that all posts to the idea forum and all formal submissions will be accessible for public viewing and are subject to the laws of Canada, including the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act, and may be disclosed, as required, by legislation.
All Canadians have a role to play in helping shape Canada’s digital future. Your perspectives, suggestions, ideas and submissions will be important inputs in the creation of our digital strategy. We appreciate your interest and participation.
As of June 16, 2010 the site had more than 500 registered users.
