An unofficial ‘plain English’ on-line version of the Big City Plan ‘Work in Progress’ document the Birmingham City Council published and asked people’s opinions on. The platform was launched by volunteers of the Birmingham Blogger’s Group to facilitate public discussion on the document. The website lists all parts of the official document with plain English versions side-by-side. Comments were closed on February 6, 2010 and the comments were forwarded to the city’s council.
